QLD: Queensland's council show holidays for 2028 (Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Townsville and the other centres) have not been proclaimed yet. The Queensland Government usually gazettes them late in 2027; only Brisbane's Ekka Wednesday is known so far, and this page will be updated as soon as the list is published. For reference, the 2026 Gold Coast Show holiday was Fri 28 Aug 2026.
