Privacy

The short version: we don't run accounts, we don't run our own analytics, and the only personal information we ever hold is what you type into the report form. Ads are the fine print. Last updated 24 August 2026.

Advertising

This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies (such as device identifiers) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

If you are visiting from a region with consent requirements (such as the EEA, the UK or some US states), a consent message may be shown before any personalised ads are served, and your choice is handled by Google's certified consent tooling.

The report form

If you use the report form, we receive what you write, the page you were reporting about, and your email address if you choose to give one. That lands in the site maintainer's inbox and is used only to check the report and, if you asked for one, to send you a reply. It is not shared, sold or used for anything else.

To keep bots out, the form also processes your IP address for rate limiting; it is stored only as a truncated one-way hash for up to two hours, which cannot be turned back into your address.

Preferences on your device

The site remembers small conveniences in your browser's local storage: which state you looked at and how many leave days you set in the planner, so links keep your context. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clear your browser storage for this site to remove it.

What we don't do

  • No accounts, sign-ups or newsletters.
  • No analytics of our own; we do not track you across the site.
  • No selling or sharing of personal information.
  • The site's own infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, hosted in Australia) processes IP addresses transiently to deliver pages, as any website's servers do; we do not keep access logs of them.

Questions or requests

For anything privacy-related, including asking us to delete a report you sent, use the report form (choose "Something else") and we will sort it out. This page follows the spirit of the Australian Privacy Principles; it is written in plain language on purpose.
